1. JOIN OUR TEAM – EMPLOYMENT AND CONSULTING OPPORTUNITIES
The Centre will occasionally advertise for new employment or consulting opportunities within the team. Recruitment and contracting is managed on behalf of the Centre by its Managing Agent, Oxford Policy Management.
Principal and Senior Specialists, closing 14th July.
The Centre is recruiting two new team members to support delivery across three workstreams: direct support to country governments on how to improve their disaster risk management and financing; support to multilateral development and humanitarian institutions to improve the quality of crisis and disaster risk financing they offer and deliver, and the creation of global public goods aimed at creating knowledge, improving understanding and building momentum for change in how countries and the international community deals with crises and disasters. These are full-time employment contracts, based in the Centre’s London office. Please find out more here and apply via this link.
2. FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME
We will create opportunities for professionals to work with the Centre through our Fellowship programme. This programme will provide individuals with an opportunity to support the Centre’s policy and operational work, building their technical knowledge and networks, and gaining invaluable experience relating to exercising influence, driving change and stimulating innovation in the disaster risk financing space.
We are setting up this programme currently and will be announcing updates soon. We plan to launch the programme in Autumn 2019.
3. KNOWLEDGE AND INNOVATION PARTNERS
The Centre will form knowledge and innovation partnerships with organisations that share our vision and are committed to producing incisive, engaging new evidence and initiatives in the disaster risk financing space. These partnerships will be formed in line with the strategic objectives of both organisations, and where there are obvious opportunities for collaboration and shared work in the short-term. Organisations are welcome to submit expressions of interest to firstname.lastname@example.org.
