Eva Rahman

Strategic Partnerships Lead

Eva leads the Centre’s efforts to strengthen relationships with philanthropic, government, and multilateral partners and the implementation of the Centre’s funding strategy.

Eva has over 18 years’ experience in business growth, partnership development and strategic communications in the international development and global health sector. Having worked in global leadership and management roles, she is skilled in bringing together diverse teams and partners to respond successfully to multiple and parallel engagement opportunities.  She has been instrumental in securing £200 million in contracts and grants, funded by bilateral, multilateral, and philanthropic organisations over the last 12 years.

She has supported health systems strengthening programmes across Sub-Saharan Africa as a Senior Communications Adviser, including producing a comprehensive body of learning products and publications to amplify the impact of a transformative gender and maternal health programme in Nigeria (Women for Health). This suite of materials, including several series of videos and learning events, received special commendation from the UK Department for International Development.

She holds a MA in Environment, Policy and Development and BA in Economics and Development Studies, both from the University of Sussex.

A certified trauma-informed, nervous system coach and yoga facilitator, Eva is training to be a body-centred, trauma resolution practitioner (Somatic Experiencing) in her spare time and enjoys walking in the woods with friends and her dog.
