OUR GOVERNANCE

Since 2017, with founding investment from the UK government, the Centre has established a reputation for providing independent, credible, trusted, evidence-based advice.

The Centre is funded with UK aid through the UK government. Our managing agent, DAI Global UK, plays a crucial role in supporting the Centre’s day-to-day operations, including essential services such as HR, finance and security.

OUR BOARD

We place great importance on impartiality in our work. To ensure that our activities align with the Centre’s mission and values and that our goals are fulfilled, the Centre is accountable to a Board. This Board is empowered with delegated authority from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and acts as a steering committee to oversee our work.

Board membership comprises independent experts and representatives from the FCDO and the Centre leadership team, with DAI providing support through the Board Secretary. These expert voices from a range of sectors and a diversity of experience will provide challenge, oversight and strategic guidance in support of the Centre’s mission and in line with its values of impartiality, quality, creativity and empowerment.
