The Centre is recruiting a Head of Training and Capability Strengthening to shape and grow its global training work in disaster risk financing.

Leading a small team, the postholder will build the Centre's training activities into a full function, developing new learning products and partnerships that help governments and partners build lasting disaster risk financing capability.

Fixed-term to June 2029, starting November/December 2026. Based in the UK, with eight days a month in our London office and regular international travel. We're looking for significant experience leading training or capacity development programmes internationally, and candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our Operations Team, providing administrative and operational support across finance, HR, travel and office management.

The role is the first point of contact for staff on the Centre's systems and processes, covering suppliers, travel, recruitment admin, IT and Board meeting support.

Fixed-term, running to June 2029, starting November/December 2026. UK-based and primarily remote, with regular visits to the Centre's City of London office. Flexible and part-time arrangements will be considered. Candidates need excellent organisation and planning skills, sharp attention to detail, a good grasp of Microsoft Office and the right to work in the UK.

The Centre for Disaster Protection is recruiting a consultant to lead its disaster risk financing (DRF) work across the Caribbean, working with FCDO’s regional office and the Caribbean Development Bank.

The role covers advisory support to governments on national DRF strategies and instruments, training delivery, and evidence-generation and policy engagement with regional partners and government officials across the region.

Full-time and fixed-term, based in the Caribbean, running to March 2028, starting December 2026. Candidates need proven DRF experience, strong regional networks and the right to work in the Caribbean.
