Arniela Renique Vega

Arniela is an Innovation Consultant driving the development of Labs, the Centre's innovation platform. She plays a central role in shaping its strategy and project portfolio, and in positioning the platform for strategic partnerships and future funding.

Before joining the Centre for Disaster Protection, Arniela worked with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP), advising governments on the design and delivery of social protection, livelihoods, and climate resilience programmes across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia-Pacific.

Arniela holds an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a BA in Political Science and Government.
