Cari Wood

Head of Operations

Cari leads the Operations function to support the overall running of the Centre. Acting as a bridge with the managing agent, DAI, she oversees the setup, coordination and reporting of the Centre’s portfolio of projects to its Board and donors. She also acts as secretary to the Centre’s Board and is part of the organisational growth and sustainability team.

Cari has been in the development game for a while, managing a series of FCDO and EC-funded projects across Africa and the MENA region. Using her MSc in Management from the Lancaster University Management School and her field experience in Palestine and Morocco, Cari establishes innovative processes and policies pushing the boundaries of the donor funded contract.

Although passionate about organising and Excel sheets, she equally enjoys impromptu travel, hikes, and volunteering with animal associations.
