Chandler Klein
Chandler oversees delivery of the Centre’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) service. She joins the team with over a decade of experience working in the humanitarian and international development sectors, with a strong focus in research and evaluation.
Most recently, she led delivery of third-party monitoring services for World Bank social protection and climate resilience projects in Lebanon and the Horn of Africa. Prior to that, she headed monitoring and evaluation units working with disaster-affected populations in Bangladesh, Libya, and Jordan with INGOs such as Danish Refugee Council (DRC). Along the way, she has managed large multidisciplinary field teams, designed theory-based evaluations, rolled out accountability systems, and developed strategies to turn lessons learned into actionable insights that spark meaningful change.
Chandler holds an MSc in Disaster, Risk, and Resilience from University College London and a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
