
Darshni Nagaria
Darshni works as a Senior Researcher in the Evidence team at the Centre for Disaster Protection. She has a background in conducting intersectional mixed methods research grounded in development economic theory. Her work is deeply rooted in a personal commitment to gender equality and social justice.
Before joining the Centre, Darshni worked at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok where she was involved in conducting research on women’s entrepreneurship, financial resilience and worked closely with the Government and Reserve Bank of Fiji. She also previously worked on topics related to global health, justice financing and long-term savings.
Darshni holds an MSc in Development Economics from SOAS and a BSc in Economics.
