Elise Lee

Prior to joining the Centre, Elise served in both the philanthropic and private sector in various capacities. Most recently, Elise served as Senior Commercial Manager and Head of Asia at Nairobi-based Pula Advisors, a leading insurance technology company that designs and delivers index based insurance solutions in Africa and Asia. During her tenure at Pula, Elise also served as Account Manager for the World Food Programme’s work across multiple countries in Africa, enabling micro and meso insurance to highly vulnerable communities.

Elise has also served in leadership capacity within the philanthropic sector in microfinance, youth in emerging markets and anti-human trafficking. She holds an MBA from the China Europe International Business School in Shanghai and a BA in Economics from Columbia University. She recently obtained the PMP certification with the Project Management Institute.
